Separating staff based on location they work at

Follow

THIS WILL ONLY WORK WITH CLIENTS THAT HAVE ONE MINDBODY SITE. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE MINDBODY SITE THIS WILL NOT WORK.

While you can make it so the staff list widget displays only specific staff, it cannot separate them by location automatically.

However, you can still make the Staff List widget only display staff members based on the location they teach at, but this has to be done manually in the Advanced Options section of the widget.

So let's say you have two locations, "Studio West" and "Studio East" and you want to have two separate Staff List widgets - one for each location.

You should already have one Staff List widget on your account, so you'll only need to create one new one. (Based on only having two locations per this example. If you have more locations you'll just add the necessary amount of Staff List widgets.)

For the existing Staff List widget, you'll want to simply edit the title to something like "Staff List - Studio West" and then for the Staff List widget you create you'll title that one "Staff List - Studio East."

Now, you simply need to apply the necessary staff filtering to each of those widgets within the Advanced Options section.

Obviously for the "Studio West" Staff List widget you'll only want to put checkmarks next to the staff that work at that location.

You'll do the same for the Studio East widget, but you'll only put checkmarks next to the staff that work at that location etc.

So, the final piece of this puzzle is to hide the "See ______'s schedule" button. The reason you need to hide it is because clicking on that to view the staff member's schedule will show ALL location data and not just the schedule data for the location that staff member works at.

To do that, simply copy and paste the following CSS into the Custom CSS box on each of the Staff List widgets then click "Save Widget" at the bottom.

.trainer_teaches_link { display: none; }
