Adding Buy Now Links to your website is super simple with our plugin. Follow the steps below to create a pricing page like the one featured below.
Step 1. Download our Plugin
We'll need to install the HealCode MINDBODY Widget plugin (Not to be confused with HealCode MINDBODY Login).
If you already have the plugin installed, make sure is updated to the newest version by going to "WordPress > Plugins > HealCode MINDBODY Widget." If the plugin needs to be updated, you'll see an "Update Now" button.
You can download the necessary plugin by navigating to the plug image in the left-hand panel, selecting "Add New" and searching for the above Plugins. Once you've found it, click "Install Now."
Step 2. Activate the Plugin
Under the same Plug icon, you'll now hit "Installed Plugins" (visible in the above picture). Click "Activate" for the HealCode MINDBODY Widget plugin.
Step 3. Install the Script Tag
In order for the Buy Now Links to load on your website, you'll need to have the script tag installed somewhere on the page. We recommend installing it into the head of the website using the steps below in 3.1. You can also precede the Buy Now Link code with the script tag directly on your page, as detailed in 3.2.
3.1 Installing the Script tag into the Header
- Copy the script code below.
- Paste this into your header right before the end of the head tag: </head> You can usually find your header within Wordpress by selecting Appearance > Editor from the left-hand pane, and then selecting the head from the right-hand side. It will likely read "header.php" although it might be "head.php" or another variation depending on your theme.
- Paste the code you copied above the </head> tag as seen below:
3.2 Installing the Script tag directly onto the page.
It's generally considered a good web practice to install the script tag into the header. Even so, you don't lose any functionality by just pasting the script tag directly onto the page along with the Buy Now Link code.
Step 4: Grab the Code from the Desired Link
From HealCode's Links screen, create your Link using the steps outlined in this article. Be sure to copy the Link code before moving on to Step 5 below.
Step 5: Convert the Widget Code to a Shortcode
Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard, locate "HC Widgets" in the navigation. From here, click Widget Shortcodes > Add New Widget.
Then simply add a Widget Title (such as "New Client Special"), paste the HealCode code copied in the step above into the "Widget Code" text box, and click "Create."
Step 6: Add the Shortcode to Your Desired Page
To add the link you've just created, navigate to the desired page, and click the HealCode button to add your shortcode. Don't forget to Update/Publish!
Congrats! You have installed the widget using a shortcode!
