What is MailChimp?
MailChimp is a marketing tool that handles email blasts. It allows you to group several emails in one list, and then send one email to everyone in that list. If it sounds a bit like Constant Contact, it's because their competitors. MailChimp is generally a little bit cheaper. You can find out more here.
How does MailChimp integration work?
Anytime a client fills out your prospect or registration widget, their email will be added to a list you specify within MailChimp.
Will a client's email be added if I add their email through MINDBODY?
No, MailChimp integrates with HealCode only. Thus the only way to add a client's email is to use our widgets.
Can 1 widget add to 2 or more mailing lists?
Unfortunately, this is not possible at this time. However, each instance of a widget can add to a different widget, so while one widget can only add to one list, you could have multiple widgets that direct to different lists.
Can the widget send to different lists based on how a client fills out a certain question?
Unfortunately, this is not possible at this time. As mentioned above, each instance of a widget can add to a different widget, so multiple widgets can add to different lists. Some clients use our prospect widget and hide all fields other than first name, last name, and email as a work around.
